Senior Partner

After a total of 27 years on the management board, Hubertus will move to the supervisory board and is currently supporting the company as a senior partner. Hubertus played a key role in establishing and positioning SHS as a leading healthcare industry investor and was responsible for finance.

Hubertus is an experienced investment professional with a strong focus on the financial and operational performance of our investments. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and qualified tax advisor, he honed his business acumen as a corporate finance manager at Arthur Andersen before joining SHS in 1997. He has extensive experience as a member of the advisory boards of medtech companies and has structured a number of transactions in which SHS has acted as lead investor in growth-stage companies and achieved successful exits, be it through trade sale or IPO.

In his spare time, Hubertus loves jogging through the Schönbuch and has a passion for two- and four-wheel mobility. He has probably skied every piste in Europe.
