Operating theatre robot manufacturer AOT develops machine learning platform together with Swiss innovation expert Zühlke

With the CARLO® surgical robot for high-precision laser cutting of bones, the Swiss medical robotics company AOT has already made technological history in the operating theatre. More than 80 procedures have already been successfully performed on patients with CARLO®. The system is CE-certified for all of Europe. Now the medical robotics experts at AOT have teamed up with the renowned innovation service provider Zühlke to develop a platform for machine learning. In the future, this will enable the surgeon to see the progress of his incisions on the patient in real time. An ambitious project. AOT and Zühlke are very confident that it will succeed within the set time frame and in compliance with the MDR.
